Desenzano del Garda is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, Italy, on the southwestern shore of Lake Garda. The city has a rich history starting from the first century, when the area around lake Garda became a favourite vacation spot for the Veronese élite, at the time when Verona was one of the largest Roman cities in north-eastern Italy. The city is has a beautiful view of the Alps from the southern shore of Lake Garda, and the heart of the city consists of a series of interconnected piazze.
The company was set up in Desenzano del Garda in 1969 by Carlo Coita and his wife Piera Cassini, parents of the current head of the business, Alberto. Current clients of the company include the top Italian menswear brands who share the same values and reputation for selling highest quality products teeming with craftsmanship.
Alberto, together with his wife, are true artisans who experiment with different yarns, compositions, techniques and finishes, striving for new perfections. They started a new business phase in 2000, oriented towards originality and the search for new materials and processing technologies. The workshop is always full of new ideas, blends and designs, and this is why many leading fashion brands trust Alberto to not only produce but develop new products for them.
